Overview

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions purchased on Built For Small Business ("BFSB"), operated by Built For Small Business. By purchasing a Business plan subscription, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

BFSB offers a permanently free tier for core features. This policy applies only to paid Business plan subscriptions.

Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase. Refund requests made after this 7-day window will not be accepted.

The refund window applies to your initial purchase date only. Renewal payments are not eligible for refunds once processed.

How to Request a Refund

Please include your registered email address and the date of purchase. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.

Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

Renewal payments processed after the initial subscription term

Subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day refund window has elapsed

Assisted with data migration services, once the import has been completed and confirmed

Any add-on services or one-time fees

Assisted data migration is a completed service. Once your expenses data has been imported into your account and you have received a confirmation email, that service is excluded from the refund window regardless of when the cancellation request is made.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Business plan subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewal payments but does not trigger an automatic refund. If you are within the 7-day refund window, you must also submit a refund request as described above.

Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the free tier at the end of your current billing period. Your data is retained, and you may continue using free features without interruption.

Renewals

Business plan subscriptions renew annually on the anniversary of your purchase date. You will receive a reminder email before renewal. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel before the renewal date. Renewal payments are not eligible for refunds once processed.

Exceptional Circumstances

We consider refund requests outside the standard window on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances, such as duplicate charges or billing errors. Please contact [email protected] with details, and we will review your request.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Business plan following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
